Antique Burmese lady traditional wood carved figureThe Htamein is one of the traditinal dresses of Burmese women. This skirt cloth or lower body wrapper was worn by women during the Konbaung Dynesty ( 1752-1855) as a wrap -around skirt or sometimes as a folded clothing material placed " tightly across the abdomen slightly left center of the waist. In comparison, Burmese men wore the traditional lower garment known as the pahso.
The wood carved figure is carved in one piece of teak wood , Burmese lady standing on base, dresses in traditional pink, a bit of black color pattern. It is size 24 inches High ( with wood base )
It is a rare and an original piece condition. Some places cracked, was from the nature wood cracking by itself.
