    Description

    Up for sale is an antique Burmese oxcart prow wood carving of a Hongsa (mythical bird) with a fish in its mouth.  My parents purchased it from a family friend who was also a Burmese antique dealer approximately 30 years ago.  Age unknown.  Measures approximately 13.5 inches tall by 11.75 inches wide.  Measures approximately 4.5 inches around where the mounting pole enters the prow.  Mounting block measures approximately 3.25 by 5.25 inches.  Please see photographs for condition and ask any questions prior to purchase.
