    I found no information on this game on line.
    I imagine this dates from the Victorian era, possibly the early 1900's. Missing the instructions. I believe there were originally 16 cards, (now only 12), 4 sets of 4, to match the different color chips. There may have been dice or a deck of cards with the set. The game is in a well-made, solid wooden box with a wood graining finish.  Missing the top little catch on the lid to hold the cover closed. The chips are some sort of plastic, but not bakelite.
