Please email with any questions. Unposted divided back postcard advertising Thomas C Imeson Curios, 226 Hogan Street, Jacksonville, Florida. Hand stamp on the right edge gives a copyright date of 1909. Imeson sold oranges, guava jelly, orange blossom perfume, and hornback alligator goods were a specialty. The gator pictured is OLD JOE- "the sassiest 'gator in Florida". The text below the picture gives a brief paragraph about alligators. Thomas Imeson went on to be a city commissioner in Jacksonville, responsible for the building of the airport that bears his name. Clean card, some very slight surface skinning on the edges.
