Burmese Kalat or Lacquered Tray on Stand

Description

A pleasing  red lacquered Kalat or tray on stand from Burma.
Kalats were originally designed as food  trays.
The handsome form may be used to  hold or display any number of items.
This tray  has some discolorations and lacquer wear and loss due to normal usage and add  to its charm.  See photos.
The item  measures 10’ D
x 7” T.
In  reasonably good condition for its age.
