"FREE SPIRIT" is hand painted in golden yellow lettering with red pinstripe outline on this two-piece mahogany antique boat aft or rear. The piece is slightly bowed as it used to be the rear or aft of an antique wooden boat. I've added two thin pieces of plywood to the back of the sign to stabilize using the original holes in the wood without damaging or altering the piece, and I've also added a simple picture frame wire for easy display. This is a seriously unique piece of nautical history with awesome verbiage! Truly a one of a kind piece. I cannot be sure of the exact age of the piece however it was salvaged from an old ship breaker which was in the business since the 1920's, guaranteeing it's authenticity.
